Union

Yesterday marks the union of 2 couples as I had attended a church wedding and a Chinese wedding earlier on. Feels very happy for my friends who had found their life partners and moving on to a next stage of their life.

The pastor of the church wedding said a very interesting phrase 'wedding is just like death cos there is no return to it'. I felt that its quite a unique way of viewing marriage, making it a lifetime promise which u will not regret. Treat the wedding day as the lowest point of ya life and learn to treat each other better after that day.

I used to be an atheist whom deny the fact that god exist, but now my perception change a little to that god may exist. Whichever the case, I still hope that god will bless them with a happy marriage.

Perceptions of life will change over time and experiences in relationships will enable the person to grow and adopt different viewpoints. I haven't experience being in a relationship for a very long period of time and I do not know how to treat the other party, its thru experience that I learned about my flaws and my inadequacy. U will need to experience loss to really learn and be able to handle situations.

All is not loss but I have learned a valuable lesson. Trust is still the fundamental basis of love and it takes two person to uphold the r/s. Give as much as the other party can give so that there wont be any disparity. There are bound to be differences between 2 person, it is necessary to find the common ground and bridge the gap. Lastly, leave it to fate, love will find your way if its meant to be.
