What have I been up to...

I have been spending my time with family and catching up with quite a lot of friends who I have not seen for a long long time. On top of that I am training up for the Standard Chartard and my IPPT, I was thinking might as well...

Besides work, i have been spending time setting up a wine blog, now I have only started a few posts... Wine is sth which I am always very curious about, I start off being completely clueless, nowadays I have been reading up, brainstorming on the topic and write down inside the blog. Its just like a learning process for me, laying the foundation and the cement, next step will be to do sourcing for supplier, I am seeing a huge potential in the market..

Nowadays, I have been playing quite a bit of tennis and I am finally learning driving.. I guess its time for me to be a driver soon, when the price is right..

There are soo much things that keeps me occupied, every time that I am resting at home, I just cant help but feeling guilty.. I dun like the feeling of wasting my youth, but it seems that I am really a true blue city pple after watching tribal wife on discovery channel.. its a great show depicting the life of villagers who live away from city and time is never an issue to them..

Keeping myself occupied is not a bad thing, as long as i find the things that I am doing meaningful...

Christian Songs

I just realized that they are a lot of very nice christian songs, I guess religion is a very powerful tool to allow singers to create the most beautiful pieces. This is also the reason why the religion spreads far and wide, due to this powerful tool to praise the lord.

Adversity

'For I must tell you, I was given to understand in my childhood, that the British island from which my forefathers came, was no lotus-garden, no paradise of serene sky and roses and music and merriment all the year round, no, but a cold foggy mournful country, where nothing grew well in the open air, but robust men and virtuous women, and these of a wonderful fibre and endurance; that their best parts were slowly revealed; their virtues did not come out until they quarrelled: they did not strike twelve the first time; good lovers, good haters, and you could know little about them till you had seen them long, and little good of them till you had seen them in action; that in prosperity they were moody and dumpish, but in adversity they were grand.'

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

the fastest way to grow and learn is to be in adversity.
